My workshops consist of a single two-and-a-half hour session (mornings, afternoons or evenings available) each week, for either a half term or full term.

What Can You Learn?

If you want to learn or improve your sewing machine skills, or if there is a particular sewing project that you require help with, then come to one of my regular workshops to receive personal instruction on a project of your choosing.

You can learn:

basic sewing machine skills
patchwork and appliqué
dressmaking
curtain & blind making
machine embroidery

cloth doll & toy making

What Can You Expect?

Classes are held in my purpose-built studio at my home in Locks Heath where you will find a warm welcome and small class sizes (normally up to a maximum of six people).

You can expect:

personal tuition on your chosen project
access to a small library of craft books for inspiration
FREE scrap materials and threads for practice purposes
FREE information handouts and photocopies, where needed
FREE tea, coffee and biscuits

How Much Do They Cost?

My workshops are the same price as an evening class at your local school or college,

BUT at an evening class:

you will probably NOT have a small class size
you will probably NOT get to see the tutor as often as you would like
you will probably NOT get to work on your own personal projects
you will probably NOT get FREE handouts and photocopies
you will probably NOT get FREE scrap materials and threads
you will probably NOT get FREE tea and coffee.
