Getting Started in Curtains and
Roman Blinds (1-Day Workshops)
|
|
Saturday February 23rd
Thursday February 28th |
|
£35
|
|

Would you like to make your own curtains and blinds that hang
properly? In this workshop we will be making a small curtain or
blind to allow you to get familiar with all the techniques used.
If you have a small bathroom window that needs dressing you might
like to make one to fit your requirements. You will need to bring
along one metre of curtain-weight fabric plus one metre of curtain
lining. If you are making a curtain you will also need 1 metre of rufflette tape. Please be advised that this workshop is for the
hand-sewn method of curtain and blind-making – the only way in my
opinion – but you will need a sewing machine for hemming the
lining, attaching rufflette tape (curtains) and attaching the rod
channels (blinds).
